Salpicón Gesha
Las Marías Estate — Salpicón (Natural Geisha)
José Giraldo’s Las Marías Estate represents a third-generation coffee legacy rooted in Pijao. Together with his wife, María Rivera, José transformed the family farm from traditional commercial production into a center for genetic research and ultra-specialty coffee innovation. Over the past decade, their work has focused on refining cultivation practices and experimental processing methods to produce competition-level coffees recognized by leading baristas, roasters, and coffee enthusiasts around the world.
Jose Giraldos blended plots at Las Marías, bred from El Danubio’s(his families farm) competition‑winning Geisha lines. Natural processed, limited microlot; a bright “fruit‑salad” of flavors. Notes of tropical fruits, jasmine florals, red fruit acidity, and a silky sweet finish.
